"...four tracks of poppy, swaggery, croony pop absinthe that will leave you high and blissful...these songs reward repeated listens with some gorgeous guitar flourishes and hidden lyrical gems."
- review of "Songs of Jeremy Schofield" in Front Row LoCo
He ducks into genres and moods like doors on a street filled with smokey cabarets, synth drenched clubs and sultry lounges with nothing but dark corner tables.
Here at Heavy Mediums we crave music that travels via hidden passages and secret words. When we heard Jeremy's music we knew we'd found a kindred spirit. We are so excited to have him on our roster!
Come along as we follow Jeremy Schofield into the underground where he knows all the characters by name, and they know all of his songs by heart.
Starting 2026 with a tight four song EP by Jeremy Schofield our new favorite thing! Jeremy expresses complex emotions with classic songwriting wrapped in modern vibe and it is so delicious.
Kicking off with the pounding cabaret earworm of I Talk To The Devil, tumbling into the wistfully bleak It Feels Like Home, zooming back out with the twisted love of Pop Culture, and then strutting into the sunset with the smoldering guitar and wryly smiling A Saint Like You... There really is no choice but to play them all again!
Produced and mixed by Brute Florist. This collaboration is stone cold fire and we cannot wait for more!

Our first single with Jeremy! This song is like a layercake of vibe. Classic synth melodies, super singable, with a groove that moves your body. This is your summer drive to the party with a bag full of wine coolers jam.
Battle Cry is also the first Jeremy Schofield's track mixed by Brute Florist. We think this is a match made in heaven, and there are more on the way!
So, put on your creepers and bust out the clove cigs because the new single by Jeremy Schofield is a synthpop gem. Your last words will be a Battle Cry!
Who is Jeremy Schofield?
Jeremy grew up in Northern Colorado, an area with a history of turning out unusual artists making exciting music. As a kid he and his sister would blast R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World as We Know It" in the car, singing at the top of their lungs. To this day he strives to channel some of that epic euphoria in his own songwriting. Yet he also loves bleakness. He sees his music as part of the soundtrack to the crumbling decay of a dying empire.
"As our society becomes more untethered from the way things were, and whether or not one thinks that's a good or bad thing, I want the lyrics to reflect how people feel here today, and usually it's a bleak feeling. " - Jeremy Schofield
Epic euphoria and a love for bleakness. That's actually a fantastic encapsulation of the landscapes in which the songs of Jeremy Schofield's travel. This also comes through in his influences. His reverence for classic songsmiths like ABBA, Lennon and McCartney, and Bowie as well as post-modern stylists like Destroyer and LCD Soundsystem crystalizes in a sound that is unique yet also familiar. Like the memory of a first crush.
At Heavy Mediums HQ we love getting new tracks from Jeremy! Always earwormy, awesome, and venturing into new territory. That's our jam! We are proud to have a hand in bringing the Songs of Jeremy Schofield to the world!
